The History behind the Ball...
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making the 2010 Ball another memorable one, feedback has been so fantastic with fantastic food supplied by Anglian Events, entertainment by Leo Shavers and the outstanding sounds of Sahara kept us dancing into the early hours.
The First 'Hopes and Dreams Ball' was held in September 2008 at Hungarian Hall in aid of Mcmillian Cancer Support raising £5,305.00.
2009 supported the EACH charity (East Anglian Children's Hospices).
The official amount raised was £3,500.00.
2010 again supported the EACH charity (East Anglian Children's Hospices), in particular the Treehouse Appeal. The official amount raised was £3,250.00.
In 2011 we supported two charities, The Stroke Association and the East Anglian Air Ambulance. The total figure raised was £3,500.00 which was split evenly between the two charities.
The official cheques were handed over to Nichola, from the East Anglian Air Ambulance and George, from The Stroke Association. The presentation took place at Hungarian Hall on 15th December 2011 presented by Chris Boardley, ball organiser and Events Manager at Anglia Coastal Marquees & Hungarian Hall Events.
